Mountain Tropic Triathalon!

This last weekend Casey's dad's side of the family had a family reunion up in Bear Lake, and it just so worked out that Casey's next Triathalon was also up in Bear Lake! This one was called the Mountain Tropic Tri, and it has been Casey's best one yet!! He did awesome! He got 2nd in his age group and 9th overall!! I have no idea where he get's his drive from, but it is amazing all the races he does. I'm glad he does it too because it makes me want to better myself and be more active. I'm so proud of him!!

The reunion was also really fun, it's fun to see all Casey's aunts and uncles and cousins! We got to do alot of boating which was super fun! Scoots likes to sit at the front of the boat so he can be right in the wind, just like in a car! He hates the water though so I can't beleive he even gets that close! We also got to hang out on the beach, enjoy the sun, and relax! And of course you can't go to Bear Lake without getting a Raspberry Shake!

This last weekend, Jaydale's Fiance Chantry's mom and sisters held a baby shower in Randolf for Jaydale. All of us girls were invited, so since Randolf is like a million miles away in the middle of no where, we got to use my mom's friend's Cabin in Bear lake west! So the night before the shower we went up, hung out, checked out where Jaydale will be living when she has the baby, got a famous raspberry shake (you can't go to bear lake and not have one of those!) took the kids to the pool, sat in the hot tub for a while! And then went back up to the cabin to watch a movie and go to bed!

We got up the next morning got ready and headed up to Randolf. It literally is in the middle of nowhere, and was interesting to find! But Chantry's family did a really great shower! The decorations were cute, the food was good, and Jaydale got lots of great stuff!!

After the shower Amanda and I took the boys to the beach, or what little beach there was! But they had a blast, they love playing in the sand and Wyatt loved the water!! We stayed there for a few hours wore the kids out, and headed back up to the Cabin.

We decided to stay another night, so my dad came up and brought pizza! Casey decided to come up too, but didn't get there until late, as he had a softball game to play. Jaydale Chantry and Kylee came up for pizza, and afterwards we decided to go down the the clubhouse bar and restaurant where a band was playing for the 24th. It was a packed house and it was fun to watch the band, they were 3 old guys just having a good ol' time! Chantry bought us all drinks, I had a virgin Daiquiry which was yummy!! Casey met me there, and then we went back up to the cabin and went to sleep!

The next day we cleaned the cabin and got ready to head out, Casey and I wanted to hit the beach before we left, so we took Kylee and Wyatt, they swam, and sat out with Scoots, then got a raspberry shake and headed home! It was a fun girls weekend, where we were later joined by the boys, but I had so much fun, I love spending time with my family, and I'm grateful we can do these fun things together!

In March Amanda and I bought tickets for the Katy Perry Concert! We have been holding in our excitement for months!! And finally it came!! Last night we went to the concert, and it was the most fun concert I have ever been to!! We had a blast! She was such a good performer, and it was so entertaining, we new all the songs, and just had so much fun!! I'm glad we got to go together, I wouldn't have had as much fun with anyone else! We only wish Jaydale and Kylee could have been there, but we had so much fun!! The only thing that sucked was that we couldn't take our cameras in, so we have a few picture of us before we went in, and after in my car! There we so many people dressed up so fun! Amanda and I bought a whole bunch of colored hair extensions since Katy Perry has rainbow hair, and we bought awesome t-shirts!! It was so much fun!! If she ever comes back to utah we are for sure going!!

The 4th

The 4th this year was pretty low key for us! And I was ok with it! We started the weekend off on Friday and went camping with our awesome friends Becca and Scotty, up Green Canyon. We borrowed Casey's Parents' tent trailer and saved ourselves a spot. We went up pretty early in the evening and hung out and set up camp, and ate some dinner cooked over our fire! When it got dark we drove down to the Bonneville lake Trail which is just outside of Green Canyon, and found a spot to watch the Fireworks! It was an awesome spot! We didn't have to worry about traffic at all! When we got back to camp we sat around the fire, roasted marshmallows and just hung out and talked! It was my kind of camping! Didn't take much effort, I didn't get super dirty, and it was only one night! Thanks Becca and Scotty we had fun, and we should do it again soon!!

Saturday, the night of the cruise in, we just decided to go see Transformers with my Parents, since the Cruise in is the same cars every year, and they let stupid big trucks and dumb low riders in now. But it was a great night to see a movie, since everyone else was at the cruise in!
Sunday we had a dinner at Casey's parents', and hung out outside. It was fun and really chill, and nice just to relax!!

Monday was the day of the Hyrum Parade, and we almost didn't go, but Kylee really wanted to go, and Jesse took Dax, so we thought oh why not! But before that early in the morning, Casey did the Freedom Run in Hyrum. Starting at the park in Blacksmith Fork Canyon, and ending by the City center on main street. It did pretty good, but not as good as he wanted! He's always trying to perfect himself, but I think he's amazing! Later that night they also had the Hyrum Fireworks, Casey didn't want to go to them, so Kylee, Amanda and her boys, Scooter and I went over and sat on the Baseball Field and watched! Scooter always freaks when he see's fireworks and barks at them, most dogs hate them and hide, but Scooter has no fear of them!


It was such a nice weekend to spend together, it was so relaxing not having to worry about going to every single event, we kinda just did what we felt like and it was nice!

Also Yesterday my mom, Amanda and I held a baby shower for Jaydale, unfortunatly I forgot my camera, but we had such a good turn out and She got some really great stuff!! We played games, and caught up with old friends, and ate yummy good!! I made Cake pops, for something a little different, and they were a hit!

The week of many birthdays.... and Father's day!

June 9th, Tate's Birthday! The night before I told him I was going to make Mator Cakes for his party, so he woke up the morning of his birthday saying "Where's my Mator cake?" haha so I had to get over to my parents house and make him one! They turned out pretty cute!

June 15th My 22nd Birthday! My boss Jane and Coworker Gloria both took me to Happy Sushi for lunch!! It was so good!! I love sushi!! It was so nice of them to take me and I'm glad we got to catch up since we're not working summer school together this year! I then hung out with my niece Kylee and my Nephews Wyatt and Tate at my house for a while. It was a nice day so we hung out outside!! That night my whole family went to Texas Roadhouse! Casey and I haven't been there forever and it just sounded good!! They made me sit on the saddle of course! My family all gave me some really great stuff that I love thanks guys!!! And Casey got me so really great stuff for my bike! Thanks Babe!

June 16th Casey's 26th and Wyatt's 6th! We didn't really do anything for Casey on his actual birthday since he had school and tests, what a fun way to spend your birthday huh? But Friday I gathered some of our good friends for a BBQ and We had a really great time! It was really fun for us to have our friends there and hang out around a fire as well!! Our friends that were there included Ryan Tawni and their little baby Athen, Chelsie and Steve, and Becca and Scotty! Thanks for coming you guys!

For Wyatt's Birthday Amanda had a fun friend party for him saturday day with all his friends, and some cousins! My mom rented a big bouncy castle, so you can imagine how hard it was to get them out of that!! I also got to make them a really fun cake, that tasted great too!

And this week it's my Big Brother Jesse's birthday!! Happy Birthday Brother!! Love ya!!

For father's day we were able to go to both family's houses, which is always nice that we are so close! We hit Casey's side first, where we had a yummy BBQ with his parents, his Grandparent's Cokely's and Aunt Suzie and Kenzie, and sister Tenielle. It was really fun to get together with all of them and enjoy some great food! I wasn't able to get any pictures of this day!

Next we went to my parents' house where they were also having a BBQ, so I snacked while Casey took a nap! I also got to hold my cute little nephew Ryder!! he's still little so you can hold him without him squirming so much! But he is adorable!! It was a really great day to hang out with our families! We love you all!

Grammy's Spot

Well we finally got my Grammy's new headstone put up, and I love it! Really wish it wasn't there yet, but if it has to be, I'm glad it looks like this!

This rock is from my Grandpa's farm, and has resided at the home my Grandpa built for my Grandma and himself for all the years they lived there, and now it is with them still. The rock was cut in half and they sit side by side with pictures engraved to best describe what they loved in this life. On my Grandpa's side is a Tractor tilling a feild with his windmill circle "P" symbol, and on my Grammy's side a rocker with an afagan since she loved to rock, and crochet, a rose with pearls around it (Anyone who knew her knew she loved her bling!) and hearts that say together forever, since her and my Grandpa were sealed together forever!

This is my whole family on Memorial Day, we went down together to check out the new headstone. People brought lots of flowers! She was loved!! I miss her so much, and it still doesn't even seem real that she is gone, I don't know if it ever will. Visiting her headstone just felt like staring at a rock with her name one it. I know I am truely blessed to have had her in my life, and am very greatful that I will see her again someday. I know she is up there watching over me and my family.

After we visited her, we went back up to my parent's house and celebrated Chantry's birthday!! He felt really silly blowing out all the candle's, but that's how we do!! I'm glad my sister found such a good guy to share her life with, and I am so excited for their little one to arrive, Chantry will be a good dad!
