A couple of weekends ago Casey and I enjoyed a mini vacation with his parents, and little sister Teneille! We took Casey's Parent's boat and tent trailor down and had so much fun! The first night we got there, I conveinently caught a cold and rode the whole way with a tissue up my nose fast asleep in the passenger seat. We got down there around 6ish, set up camp, and went for a fun little spin in the boat so Casey could wake-board. After that it was around 9 and we found a pretty good burger place. As soon as we bought cold medicine and tissues, and went back to camp it was off to bed for me! I woke up feeling much better and we set off once more for a day long boat ride! It was so much fun, we spent the day going through all the neat little canyons in Escalante. I had never been to Lake Powell before, so it was very, very cool to see all the canyons. We stopped in one little canyon with a shore and some trees, and let Scooter releive himself, then jumped in the water to cool off. We spent some time there hanging out, swimming and jumping off rocks! Everyone also spent some time water skiing, and wakeboarding but me, I have no interest in it, I was content sitting in front of the boat with my Scoots! That day we also had a chance to visit Hole-In-The-Rock and hike up the crevice, where 80 wagons and nearly 250 men, women, and children moved down. They removed much of the crevice so that the wagons could fit through, and carved stairs so that everyone could pass safely. In some places you can still see the stairs they carved. There were many huge boulders, that really took some work to get over and under but we made it! On the way down Casey and I had to pass Scooter to each other a couple times, and I thought to myself that that was probably what they did with the children that was in that company. It was a neat experiance, and I'm glad we experianced it.
Day two we did much of the same thing, drove around in the boat, skiing, wakeboarding, swimming, jumping off cliffs, and then found some really cool Indian ruins in Forgotten Canyon. It was another hot hike, but at the top of the cliff we found hieroglyphics, and some "houses" they lived in. Some were build right into the wall and you could go inside. I really love that kind of stuff, and had alot of fun exploring the huts. Casey and I took scooter into the underground one, not so sure he like it! But it was super fun, and we really enjoyed ourselves.

We decided to pack up and leave Saturday night and stay in some town I can't even remember the name of, but it was about half way to Salt Lake, where on Sunday afternoon Casey and I had to meet my family for the Broadway The Lion King. Casey was not so excited about this, but I think after seeing it, he has a different oppinion of it now, although he probably won't go to another one. The tuesday before on the 14th was my dad's birthday so after the show we went to his favorite restaurant Famous Dave's and ate a yummy dinner! As soon as Casey and I got home we crashed. It was a super fun weekend, but very, very long!
Last weekend, Chelsie and I had a little Baby Shower for our good friend Kalei, who is having a little boy! It was a pretty casual shower, and we just ate food, and caught up! It was alot of fun, and Kalei got some really cute things for her baby!
