Summer Happenings!

Well it's been a pretty busy August for Casey and I. Casey has been spending monday through Thursday up in Alpine Wy. building a cabin for the last 3 weeks, and although it's hard for me to have him gone that long, it really makes me appreciate him more! At the very end of July and beginning of August I got the opportunity to go to California with my mom, my sister Jaydale, and her daughter Kylee. We stayed in a cute little beach house on Newport Beach with my mom's really great friend Sandy. We had so much fun playing in the ocean, shopping, and mostly just relaxing!

Getting ready to boogie board! I wasn't very good at it.

After I got home from Cali, one of my dearest friends, Erin Hunnicutt, from Minnesota and her family were in town, so I got the opportunity to hang out with her one day and catch up on things. It was so fun to see her! Casey and I took her boating in his parent's boat, we had tons of fun!

Kylee just recently had a mini Cheer Camp, and did awesome in it! Hopefully she'll follow me and be an MC Cheer Leader when she gets into high school! Me, my mom, Amanda, Wyatt, Baby Tate and Kendra all went to support her. Here are some fun pictures.

On the last day of work for summer school with the special needs kids, we took them to willow park zoo. They all had so much fun seeing the animals and just hangin out.

Um, yes this is an albino Porkupine. Crazy right? I thought it was so rad so i took a picture
One friday, Casey and I wanted to spend some time together, since he is working up in Alpine for most of the week, so we went up to Tony's Grove. It was so beautiful up there and I'm glad we had a chance to go. Scooter absolutely hates hates hates the water, so it was a challenge to get him in, but we did it! Unfortunately, I have the worst alergies anyone could ever have, and so of course as nature would have it, I got the runny nose, sneezing, and itchy eyes, so we weren't able to stay for very long. I spent the rest of the night in bed with a tissue up my nose! It's insane what alergies do to me. They just take me out with on shot! But anyways, I'm glad we got some alone family time together for a while. Casey is such a good trooper, and took such good care of me when we got home.

Scoot hates the water!

And as many of you know the Fair was just recently in town, I ended up going with Jaydale and Kylee, and met up with my mom and dad, and Amanda and her kids. We had alot of fun. We started out by seeing the animals. I tried talking my dad into buying me another goat. That didn't fly. And then we checked out the chickens. Any of you who know me at all, know I love chickens! As soon has Casey and I get a house, we're starting a chicken farm! haha But anyways, we ended the night getting the kids tickets and letting them ride the rides for a while. I rode the farris wheel with Kylee. Haha she made sure everyone she knew saw that she was on the ride by yelling and waving. Needless to say I was like "ok i think they can see you!" haha but she was rather excited.

So Wyatt seriously hates you to take pictures of him when he doesn't want it to be done, so this it was he looks like when he's trying to tell me no haha, i think it's so funny!
Kylee getting ready to swing!

Wyatt thought he was pretty rad in this hot rod. Haha except the whole time he was trying to figure out why he would only go into circles and why he couldn't drive this baby through the crowd!
And finally, last friday, Amanda had a Girls Night, so me Jaydale, and her friend Lisa and a few others showed up and we had a good time hanging out and eating food! We ended the night in a little game of Rock Band. I'm so glad I have two sisters that I get along with, and can hang out with. We get so crazy when we're together and i love it. It makes for good memories! Love you both!!
There is no explaination for this.
Drummers are hot!

We be jammin'
The band.
And now finally bringing my blog to an end, on Saturday Casey entered the Cache Valley Biathlon. He Ran 5 miles, and came straight back, got on his bike and prepared to ride the required 13 miles. He probably would have gotten 1st place in his age group, but he was almost to the halfway mark, and got a flat tire. I didn't have my phone so he had to hitch hike back the the stake center in wellsville. I felt really bad, he was pretty disapointed that he wasn't able to finish. And any of you who know Casey, knows how competitive he is, so he was rather mad. He did super great in the run though and actually got a prize for that. I'm really greatful that I'm married to someone who is really into staying in shape and eating right, it makes me want to be that way too, he's and awesome example and I'm so happy he is my husband.

All the runners. Casey is on the far right. Can't really see him

Running in to get his bike.
On his bike and heading out!
Thanks to those of you who read the MEGA BLOG, I know it was long, but you did it!

I did it, and it only took like oh thirty minutes! HA HA!! Just kidding. I loved it! Looks like you had fun with everything that you did. Oh and by the way, if you get a chicken farm, I will never come visit. I hate birds, especially chickens. They way the walk and move their heads.... not natural. Miss you lots!
